Direct printing to rigid media

Viking Signs has the capability to digitally print directly to rigid media. Using a UV flatbed printer has given a significant increase in capacity and the ability to print large format (up to 2.5 by 1.25 metres in one piece) full colour images directly to a huge range of materials:

PVC
Dibond
MDF
Acrylic
Glass
Canvas
and almost anything else up to 48mm thick...

Our large format digital UV flatbed printer gives results that for solid graphics, look like high quality screen printing, but with no set up charges or minimum batch sizes and have no limitation on number of colours:

Bold, solid colours - yes.
Matches to pantone references - yes.
Striking digital images - yes.

It's difficult to explain the differences in print quality available in the market. In an attempt to show what is possible (given a suitable high quality image) to achieve here are several close up photographs of sections from 1.2 x 1.2 metre exterior prints:

These are photographs of the prints, not the original digital images, the prints were produced using normal production settings and the photographs have not been 'touched up'. These prints are on the outside of our building - come and see them if you think we're fibbing.

Using these facilities, we are now happy to offer an even larger range of products from point of sale graphics to full colour stainless steel plaques.
